Cuneo Fine Arts - Richard Trevithick's Penydarren Locomotive by Terence Cuneo

Painting by Terence Cuneo of the Penydarren locomotive on the Merthyr Tydfil to Abercynon tramroad. The painting was commissioned by Trevithick's grandson, Richard Trevithick.

 The trials of this engine, on 11th February 1804, is the first time a steam locomotive is known to have moved on rails.

This reproduction is one of a single Special Edition of two hundred copies to commemorate the Bi-Centenary of the running of the world’s first steam driven locomotive on rails in 1804. 

The size of the print is 20" (50cm) x 18" (45cm). Published by Cuneo Fine Arts.

Has the embossed Cuneo Fine Arts Stamp.

Printed to Fine Art Trade Guild standards by Docs Colour Printing Limited.

Once purchased the print will be rolled in acid free tissue paper and dispatched in a heavy duty tube by courier with tracking facility.
