The 1st Print

This is an authorised print of a painting by John Austin and is ‘THE BRISTOLIAN’.

Number 5 from the second series of 9 paintings featuring full size  railway in real life settings as depicted by Hornby Dublo models.

A wonderfully imposing express scene headed by the famous Bristol Castle engine number 7013 (Hornby Dublo reference 3220  circa 1957/61) with the Hornby Dublo headboard " THE BRISTOLIAN " and coaches travelling at speed.

 

The 2nd Print

 

This is an authorised print of a painting by John Austin and is ‘THE CHOSEN FEW.

Number 7 from the second series of 9 paintings featuring full size  railway in real life settings as depicted by Hornby Dublo models.

The well known engines are numbers - 60139 / 60007 / and 60044. They are showing two of the famous Hornby Dublo headboard replicas in a stunning shed scene displaying their power in the mist, steam and grime around.

 

 

The 3rd Print

 

This is an authorised print of a painting by John Austin and is ‘THE FAMOUS FIVE’.

Number 9 from the second series of 9 paintings featuring full size  railway in real life settings as depicted by Hornby Dublo models.

The engine is a black five which Hornby Dublo had planned to manufacture  but its release fell short of time. The headboard for the train "PINES EXPRESS " is painted as the original Hornby Dublo headboard as are the carriages of this train passing a wonderful British scene.

 

 

 

These prints will be rolled in acid free tissue paper into a strong tube with courier tracked delivery.

The approximate print size is 25" x 17 3/4" ( 640cm x 450cm ) and the image size is 22" x 15 1/2" (560cm x 390cm).

 This is a rare opportunity to purchase three of these hard to find prints.

The title of this print is not on the image as shown in the pictures, but is on the print centre under the image with the signature and number.
